According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 2006, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $13815.59 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4601.66 billion; Germany ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $2994.7 billion; China ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $2748.6 billion; and United Kingdom, with a total economy of $2717.06 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
