According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 2012, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $16253.97 billion; China ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $8527.5 billion; Japan ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $6272.36 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $3527.14 billion; and Former Soviet Union, with a total economy of $2981.11 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
