According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1998, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $9062.82 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4098.36 billion; Germany ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $2238.99 billion; United Kingdom ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $1653.39 billion; and France, with a total economy of $1503.11 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
