According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1997, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $8577.55 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4492.45 billion; Germany ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $2211.99 billion; United Kingdom ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $1559.57 billion; and France, with a total economy of $1452.89 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
