According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1996, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $8073.12 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4923.39 billion; Germany ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $2497.25 billion; France ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $1605.68 billion; and United Kingdom, with a total economy of $1421.52 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
