According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1987, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4855.22 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $2532.81 billion; Germany ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1298.18 billion; France ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $934.17 billion; and Italy, with a total economy of $805.71 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
