According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1984, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4037.61 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1318.38 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $938.26 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $725.11 billion; and France, with a total economy of $530.68 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
