According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1982, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $3343.79 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1134.52 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $959.95 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $776.58 billion; and France, with a total economy of $584.88 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
