According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1975, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1684.9 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $685.97 billion; Japan ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $521.54 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $490.64 billion; and France, with a total economy of $360.83 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
