According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1974, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1545.24 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $616.59 billion; Japan ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $479.63 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $445.3 billion; and France, with a total economy of $285.55 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
