According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1971, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1164.85 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $455.58 billion; Germany ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $249.99 billion; Japan ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $240.15 billion; and France, with a total economy of $165.97 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
