According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1968, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $942.5 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $352.86 billion; Japan ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $146.6 billion; France ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $129.79 billion; and United Kingdom, with a total economy of $107.76 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
