According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1961, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $563.3 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $199.22 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $77.74 billion; France ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $67.46 billion; and Japan, with a total economy of $53.51 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
