According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Southeast Asian countries in 2015, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $860.85 billion; Thailand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $401.3 billion; Singapore ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $308 billion; Philippines ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $306.45 billion; and Malaysia, with a total economy of $301.36 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
