GDP ranking of Southeast Asian countries in 1998

According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Southeast Asian countries in 1998, Thailand ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $113.68 billion; Indonesia ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $95.45 billion; Singapore ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $85.73 billion; Philippines ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $74.49 billion; and Malaysia, with a total economy of $72.17 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
