According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Southeast Asian countries in 1987, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $75.93 billion; Thailand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $50.54 billion; Philippines ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $37.79 billion; Vietnam ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $36.66 billion; and Malaysia, with a total economy of $32.18 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
