According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Southeast Asian countries in 1983, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $81.05 billion; Thailand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $40.04 billion; Philippines ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $37.76 billion; Malaysia ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $30.35 billion; and Singapore, with a total economy of $17.78 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
