According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the Southeast Asian countries in 1980, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $72.48 billion; Philippines ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $36.85 billion; Thailand ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $32.35 billion; Malaysia ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $24.49 billion; and Singapore, with a total economy of $11.9 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
