GDP ranking of OPEC countries in 1997

According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the OPEC countries in 1997, Saudi Arabia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $165.96 billion; Iran ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $113.92 billion; Venezuela ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $85.84 billion; United Arab Emirates ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $78.84 billion; and Nigeria, with a total economy of $54.46 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
