According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the OPEC countries in 1996, Saudi Arabia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $158.66 billion; Iran ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $120.4 billion; United Arab Emirates ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $73.57 billion; Venezuela ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $70.54 billion; and Nigeria, with a total economy of $51.08 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
