According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the OPEC countries in 1983, Iran ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $156.37 billion; Saudi Arabia ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $129.17 billion; Nigeria ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $97.1 billion; Venezuela ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $67.56 billion; and Algeria, with a total economy of $48.8 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
