According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the countries in Oceania in 1966, Australia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $27.31 billion; New Zealand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $5.86 billion; Papua New Guinea ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $0.39 billion; French Polynesia ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $0.22 billion; and New Caledonia, with a total economy of $0.16 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
