According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the EU countries in 1985, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $732.54 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $553.14 billion; Italy ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $452.22 billion; Spain ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $180.79 billion; and Holland, with a total economy of $143.85 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
