According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the European countries in 2000, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1947.98 billion; United Kingdom ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1662.13 billion; France ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1365.64 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $1146.68 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $598.36 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
