According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1991, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1868.95 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1269.28 billion; Italy ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1246.22 billion; United Kingdom ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $1142.8 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $577.17 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
