According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1990, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1771.67 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1269.18 billion; Italy ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1181.22 billion; United Kingdom ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $1093.17 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $536.56 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
