According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1987, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1298.18 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $934.17 billion; Italy ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $805.71 billion; United Kingdom ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $745.16 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $318.75 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
