According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the European countries in 1986, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1046.26 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $771.47 billion; Italy ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $640.39 billion; United Kingdom ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $601.45 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $251.32 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
