According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1985, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $732.54 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $553.14 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $489.29 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $452.22 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $180.79 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
