According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1983, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $770.68 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $559.87 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $489.62 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $443.04 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $170.95 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
