GDP ranking of European countries in 1982

According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1982, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $776.58 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $584.88 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $515.05 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $427.27 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $196 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
