According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1974, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $445.3 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $285.55 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $206.13 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $199.56 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $97.27 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
