According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the European countries in 1973, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $398.37 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $264.43 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $192.54 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $175.49 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $78.64 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
