According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the European countries in 1971, Germany ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $249.99 billion; France ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $165.97 billion; United Kingdom ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $148.11 billion; Italy ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $124.67 billion; and Spain, with a total economy of $46.62 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
