According to the latest statistical information released by the Henan Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2003, the city with the largest economic size in Henan was Zhengzhou, with a GDP of $13.5 billion; the city with the second largest economic size was Nanyang, with a GDP of $8.9 billion; the city with the third largest economic size was Luoyang, with a GDP of $8.4 billion; the city with the fourth largest economic size was Xuchang, with a GDP of $5.1 billion, Zhoukou ranks fifth in economic scale, with a GDP of $5 billion.
