According to the latest statistical information released by the Henan Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2002, the city with the largest economic size in Henan was Zhengzhou, with a GDP of $11.4 billion; the city with the second largest economic size was Nanyang, with a GDP of $7.7 billion; the city with the third largest economic size was Luoyang, with a GDP of $6.6 billion; the city with the fourth largest economic size was Zhoukou, with a GDP of $5.1 billion, Xuchang ranks fifth in economic scale, with a GDP of $4.5 billion.
