According to the latest statistical information released by the Guangxi Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 1991, the city with the largest economic size in Guangxi was Liuzhou, with a GDP of $1.09 billion; the city with the second largest economic size was Nanning, with a GDP of $1 billion; the city with the third largest economic size was Guilin, with a GDP of $0.5 billion; the city with the fourth largest economic size was Beihai, with a GDP of $0.4 billion, Yulin ranks fifth in economic scale, with a GDP of $0.3 billion.
