According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Asian countries in 2001, Japan ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $4374.71 billion; China ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1340.6 billion; South Korea ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $547.66 billion; India ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $485.44 billion; and Taiwan, with a total economy of $300.5 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
