According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Asian countries in 2000, Japan ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $4968.36 billion; China ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1210 billion; South Korea ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $576.18 billion; India ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $468.4 billion; and Taiwan, with a total economy of $331.5 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
