According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Asian countries in 1982, Japan ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1134.52 billion; China ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $204.8 billion; India ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $200.72 billion; Saudi Arabia ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $153.24 billion; and Iran, with a total economy of $125.95 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
