According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the ASEAN countries in 2017, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $1015.62 billion; Thailand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $456.36 billion; Singapore ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $343.19 billion; Philippines ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $328.48 billion; and Malaysia, with a total economy of $319.11 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
