According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the ASEAN countries in 2008, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $510.23 billion; Thailand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $291.38 billion; Malaysia ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $230.81 billion; Singapore ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $193.61 billion; and Philippines, with a total economy of $181.63 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
