According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the ASEAN countries in 1999, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $140 billion; Thailand ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $126.67 billion; Singapore ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $86.29 billion; Philippines ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $85.64 billion; and Malaysia, with a total economy of $79.15 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
