According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the ASEAN countries in 1998, Thailand ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $113.68 billion; Indonesia ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $95.45 billion; Singapore ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $85.73 billion; Philippines ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $74.49 billion; and Malaysia, with a total economy of $72.17 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
