According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the ASEAN countries in 1970, Indonesia ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $9.15 billion; Philippines ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $7.56 billion; Thailand ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $7.09 billion; Malaysia ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $3.86 billion; and Singapore, with a total economy of $1.92 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
