According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the ASEAN countries in 1968, Philippines ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $8.63 billion; Indonesia ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $7.08 billion; Thailand ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $6.08 billion; Malaysia ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $3.33 billion; and Singapore, with a total economy of $1.43 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
