According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 2021, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $440.78 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $419.95 billion; Egypt ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $404.14 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $167.98 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $132.73 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
