According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 2020, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $432.29 billion; Egypt ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $365.25 billion; South Africa ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $335.44 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $145.01 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $114.73 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
