According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the Africa countries in 2019, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $448.12 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $387.94 billion; Egypt ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $303.08 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $171.77 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $119.87 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
