According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 2016, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $404.65 billion; Egypt ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $332.44 billion; South Africa ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $323.59 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $160.03 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $103.31 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
